At the ages of 6 to 18 months, colored cubes are used to stimulate the child's vision, develop manual skills and strengthen motor skills, by placing the cubes away from him so that the child tries to approach them. It is also a suitable toy for the bath. You can encourage the child to knock them over by stacking the cubes on top of each other and encourage him by clapping and cheering.
18 months to 3 years is the age to start building with cubes, which helps develop the child's spatial intelligence and depth of perception, and the imagination, which becomes apparent around the age of 2, increases with the help of playing with cubes.
At the ages of 3 to 6 years, the ability to build more complex things at this age indicates an increase in the child's imagination.
Getting to know colors: By choosing a cube, ask your child to give you the cube of the same color. From the age of 3, you can ask your child for the desired cube by saying the name of the color.
Getting to know the concept of similarity: Take a cube and ask your child to show you the cube with the same label. Concepts such as around, near, under, in front, behind, up, down, etc. can also be taught to your child with the help of labeled cubes.
Strengthening visual memory: Place 2 cubes in front of your child and then, without your child noticing, take one of the cubes and ask him which cube you took.
The concept of classification: Place a colored pattern in front of your child and ask him to arrange the cubes according to the desired pattern.
The concept of one-to-one opposition: Line up the child's dolls or cars and ask the child to place a cube for each of them.
The concept of left and right: Ask the child to, for example, place the blue cubes on the right and the red cubes on the left.
